I recently had a conversation with another interior designer about the process of creating, how often a project ends up all over the place. I wish I was one of those people who put the philosophy "a place for everything and everything in its place" into practice. In order to get the vision of something, I have to spread out...all over. Anyone who has ever lived with me knows this. When I saw this designer's space, I felt so much better about the way things run around here. We think alike and organize alike, if you can call it that.

I am intrigued by everything Kelly Wearstler, but am really digging on her "Vibe Trays" as seen on this site. By corralling things in trays, at least there's a sense of containment. This still allows for a very artistic, loose, free-floating creative feeling in the conceptual phase of a project. I could really benefit from something like this.
